College Di Life!!

This is my first post from college and from a different state...

New Location: DA-IICT, Gandhinagar, Gujrat

Time:10:50 p.m.

Status: Stoned

After a tension filled month spent in pondering over my college options, i finally decided on DA-IICT, and as of now I am not regretting it..........

A brief description of the place:

A lush green 50 acre campus housing a modest 1000 students, a family of dogs, a family of cats, a family of langurs, a family of peacocks and other exotic birds and insects........the college is actually in the midst of a jungle creating an exotic ambience.....the hostels are pretty decent, though no ACs or coolers.........the food here is GREAT!!...The faculty here is Excellent and to top it all we are not bound by any time restrictions......we can go and come as we please......and to top it all NIFT is 5 minutes walking from our place, :)

My day today:

My first weekend here and nothing much to do...so 15 of us decided to head for Ahemedabad........the place is as close as it can get to Delhi...the malls, the crowd and most importantly McD.....we goofed around the place, enjoyed the mild rains...and all of us mind you ALL of us 15 people returned in a single jeep, or chagda as it is called here, tightly packed singing sutta and Partner........
